Our story

About Springboard

For over fifteen years we've stood beside young people in our community — and we're just getting started.

Our mission

Belief, belonging and opportunity.

Springboard began in 2009 in a single church hall with one football and a handful of teenagers who needed somewhere to go.

Today we run six programmes across seven London boroughs, but our belief hasn't changed: every young person has potential, and every young person deserves someone who believes in it. We meet young people where they are — and walk with them towards where they want to be.

What we stand for

Our values, in everything we do.

We start with the young person — their goals, their pace, their voice. Nothing about them without them.

Young people first

Relationships, not transactions. We show up for the long haul, not the quick win.

In it for the long run

Every young person belongs here, exactly as they are. We celebrate the whole community.

Everyone belongs
Our people

Led by the community we serve.

A small staff team and a big family of volunteers, many of whom grew up with Springboard themselves.
